UP Board Exam Preparations: Varanasi District Administration Sets Up Special Monitoring Cells
Ahead of the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad board examinations, the Varanasi district administration has established high-tech monitoring cells to ensure cheating-free exams across all 142 examination centers.
With the Uttar Pradesh Board examinations approaching, educational authorities in Varanasi have stepped up preparations to ensure absolute transparency and strict adherence to anti-cheating guidelines. District Inspector of Schools (DIOS) Dr. O.P. Rai announced that all 142 examination centers within urban and rural Varanasi have been equipped with closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras linked directly to a central command and control room at the Collectorate.
Special flying squads, comprising senior magistrates and education department officials, have been constituted to conduct surprise inspections in vulnerable pockets near Rohaniya, Cholapur, and Pindra blocks. Counseling helplines have also been operationalized to help high school and intermediate students manage exam-related stress.
'We have zero tolerance for unfair means. Parents and school managements have been briefed about the stringent security protocols, including Aadhaar-based verification and randomized seating arrangements,' stated District Magistrate S. Rajalingam during a review meeting with school principals.
